But how many other company's are having constant updatesIJ I bought the only from my dealership and i don't have alot of confidence in them fixing it when it does break. You would think case could of had someone that would know how to trouble shoot this machine and give them some help. I don't here of deere combines needing update after update they get them right before they ship them or maybe iam misinformed we got a to run with so i guess we will see how they compare here in a couple of weeks.
I think all the control pressure issues caught them by surprise, the problems weren't in all the machines and they seemed to be a little different in each machine that did give problems.
Some of the updates increase capacity and some are for poor engineering or oversite. Your issues with your dealer are going to be hard to overcome, the shares very few parts and problems with the other combines other than the that CIH sells. CIH relies on dealer mechanic repair schools to teach dealers how to trouble shoot and repair.
They do have phone support for dealers but trying to figure out a problem and solution on the telephone isn't easy. No sir you are right they are hard to fix. I can't fix them myself are I would, There way above my head. Sep 26, 15 Bluefargo we also found with the dryness this year we are better off with are chopper knives down all the way and our chopPer as slow as possible.
FYI if you happen to ever set your chopper slower you must drop the knives or bad things can happen. Sep 26, 16 If you do run your chopper in low range make sure to run it in high every other day for a few minutes since the bearing does not take grease while in low range.
Sep 26, 17 Thanks everyone for the good suggestions. It is appreciated. I'll give them a try. Sep 27, 19 Hey Bluefargo, how many hours on your machine. I bought an from a supposed reputable dealer, and oh my, what a POS! Wish I had my two fabulous 's back. Big capacity when it works though. That's what I said about by TR95 when I had one. Trouble was to keep it running. These class 8's are all POS, every color. Sep 27, 20 Marshall - Our had just under engine hours on it when we bought it.
We were pretty nervous buying at the auction and were probably lucky we didn't have more trouble. We did have a spreader motor go which spread schrapnel sp into the system. We thought this was a small price to pay considering the price we got it for. I love the capacity of this combine. It sure gobbled up our acres in a hurry. I wouldn't go back to the Sep 28, 21 Thousand percent yes Tom, if we all actually brain washed the public like the auto, oil, and other industries that our product was more valueable than theirs and acted together we could control the price easily.
Wait a minute which one is more important food or a car? Sep 28, 22 Oh yeah besides constant brainwashing, how do you think the price of a vehicle is 50, and oil 1. Not too complicated, when they want those prices they limit what the produce.
We are too stupid as a group because we have been brainwashed into this high risk production to produce more and more, and as we have the possibility to produce more and more, more and more of the risk is passed to us. Western Canadians got big volumes of sales on the schedule If you are so inclined not to sell With the most profitable fall harvest prices EVER If you NEED more for your grain Then by all means Whether there is t, ,t or 1,,t of grain owned by folks like you Chaos is surpreme.
There is NO way to predict future grain production fundementals Will it rain or snow next week? Your ability to know the weather next fall at this exact time Not a comfortable proposition to ask my family to put into your hands.
