What is the solution then? Or use disc-less payload of irismanager The operation of the payload can be divided into three parts: the event, the simulation functions and final assembly. The event is a signal that tells the software system when a change has occurred on a device. In our case, we want to force the insertion of a disc and for that we can borrow the insertion of another device which happens when you plug a USB flash drive or try to force it, by capturing or modifying a syscall to intervene in the process, sending signal ourselves what happens in the CFW when they have "automated" the event and press "PS" or when you do something which suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere, I mounted the disk.
The simulation covers part functions in the system, once our disk insertion event ignored, gets "a look" that type of disc and you should do with it. It culminates with an attempt to mount the disk, we attempt to manipulate the system to make it all went well.
PNG etc. But i can be wrong here. It's easy enough to install webMAN and use. Just grab the PKG file, install then run and you are done.
I suggest installing and using this firmware. Ermak86 4. And a very current firmware that can be easily spoofed for PSN access if you wish.
I have installed and used this firmware myself and its rock solid. And if you use ps3tools there is an app called PS3Rip that will reduce the size of God of War a little bit but not much if it may help loading on your internal.
Gamesonic Manager is pretty good at discless loading i would give that a shot. Show Ignored Content. Share This Page Tweet. Your name or email address: Do you already have an account? Anyways, to the OP, you still need the disk inserted when installing PS3 games and not all of them support it afaik?
Some are mandatory others it's optional. Besides what you said contradicts yourself. Anywayssss, not going back into this topic. It has been discussed already. Was just a reminder to AB . OP: You can't copy all the game files to the HD on the PS3 yet, but is surely a feature to be ripped off in a future update. It's a feature coming in the NXE for the At the moment, a good chunk of games have mandatory 'installs' because the drive isn't up to scratch.
It still requires the disk as it doesn't copy all data so still streams a good chunk from the disk. Silly time wasting 'feature' but that's how it is. Jeez, you act like it would be a bad thing if it did come, I would be quite happy for everyone to have it. Though a good while ago Criterion said they would let people install the PS3 version of Burnout to their systems, this was before the NXE was announced with the feature, its a pity it never happened and disappeared off, I played the game a lot and would of been pretty cool.
Erm, not possible with the size of blu-ray games, especially 1st party games. Maybe multiplatform games like Burnout , but at that point, just get it off PSN. Offer a few benefits and options to the more savvy users, but don't leave people out who choose to, say, buy the 40GB version that Sony has been pushing for about a year.
